Where to Eat with Kids in San Salvador: A Family Plan Downtown

Eating out with kids is a precision sport: the place needs food they’ll actually eat, room to move and something that keeps them happy for more than twenty minutes. In historic downtown San Salvador there’s a place that was designed — perhaps without meaning to — as the perfect family plan: Plaza Universitaria.
The carousel is the heart (literally)
At the center of the iron hall spins a carousel — not as decoration, but as the main character. Family afternoons happen around it: kids ride in circles, adults share a table a few meters away, and nobody has to negotiate with anybody.
The menu everyone approves
